I seriously have no clue why I got denied and my peers got in with lower stats, its probably because I’m a white male. UW loves the international applicants I guess
This isn’t meant to sound rude in anyway - just a preface - but I am just curious how one gets accepted to several universities with acceptance rates lower than 30%, but UW at 45% waitlists? I don’t understand how colleges determine admission/rejection at all.

I don’t know if I’ll take it. It feels like if you ask somebody on a date and they say, “I’ll think about it.” It’s just kind of undignified to continue to pursue it.

I don’t like any of the other schools that I got accepted into so I am honestly so lost.
Is each office of admissions different for each school? Because I got two of the SAME emails with the same email address. It didn’t specify if it was UW Seattle or UW Bothell.

If there are 44,000 applicants and they only accepted 6,700 that’s not 45%? Lol or am I missing something

Wait so if I fill out the waitlist form, does that mean that if provided the opportunity, I HAVE to attend? I mean, UWashington is a school I really would love to attend but in financially, I don’t know if my parents and I can pay for it ya hear?
Yeah I don’t think taking the waitlist is worth it especially because I have been admitted to the higher ranking UC Irvine already…
