So regardless of when they notify us, we’ll be able to tell if we got in based on whether we have a student ID?
@uwforlife I have the same question because my unofficial transcript with SID loads for my acceptance to UW Tacoma. But it does say on mine UW Tacoma Campus. I’m guessing UW Seattle has same student ID but if accepted it would just add the UW Seattle campus with premajor to the unofficial transcript.
Guys. They will let you know March 15-31. We can only wait
Hey guys! I do Running Start (Dual Enrollment) and I know that they ask you to send in your high school transcript after you are accepted. Do they just ask you for your high school one or both schools?
I’m freaking out. I can’t wait 9 more days!
omg i never realized it was that close
@Avancer Not close enough lol
I emailed admissions asking a question, when they emailed me back the subject said my name/ waitlist applicant. Does that mean I was put on the waiting list? And what exactly does that mean?
@washingtonres4 That’s interesting… What question did you email them? That doesn’t seem right to email you with your “decision” in the subject line?
May I also ask what your stats were? @washingtonres4
I can’t wait anymore!
Plus I’m international so I’ll definitely hear towards the end of March boohoo
@Littlebitanxious as far as I could see from the previous years’ acceptance threads, UW was posting acceptances in batches of 3 starting with in-state one day, then out-of-state the next day, then international the third day, starting on March 15th, so who knows, you may find out on March 17th!!
How can you all see your unofficial transcript. When I Click transcript it just says error. Also where can you see your Student ID?
I asked about an essay question that was different on the website than what I wrote about. They said it was fine and I would be hearing back about my decision between March 15 and the 31st. I have a 3.85 unweighted with multiple APs. My sat was 1160 but I didn’t do the essay. I have good ec’s. But idk I feel like they didn’t realize that it said that…
@washingtonres4 Oh, may I ask what email address you sent the message to?
Also how long did it take for them to email you back? @washingtonres4
@dogrunner1
Thanks!
I really hope I get it soon!
Best of luck to you!
I went to the UW website > apply > admissions > Seattle > freshman > contact and filled out the contact form at the bottom it took about 2 days for a response.
To anyone who’s getting anxious seeing all of these 3.9’s and 4.0’s asking for a “chance me,” remember that while UW does consider test scores and grades to be important, what it all comes down to in the end is who you are as a person, and what potential you have to bring to UW. If you felt that your personal statement was strong, and you have some decent EC’s along with it, remember that the admissions office will notice that. They’re really making an effort to look past numbers, because that’s all they really are. You are worth so much more than your academic productivity and standardized test scores. Don’t give up hope. When they say they have a Holistic approach to admitting students, they really mean it. Good luck to everyone else who applied. Go Huskies!!!
So true! And also the average applicant has a 3.6. Not that it should matter but just keep in mind that college confidential users (and esp. those who are willing to share their scores and grades) don’t represent the entire population! <3 good luck everyone
