I scored 1370 on my April SAT and retook in October to get a 1470. I just realized that I didn’t send my new score to UW. Since the decision window just opened, would it help at all to send my score report now? Is this a question I should email admissions about?
@UW22SOM What Is your instrument/voice for the School of Music? I also auditioned, but I didn’t get in it makes me pesssimsitic about actually getting into the University…
@rachhed Sorry to hear that, I hope you at least get in to the university! I got in for stringed instrument performance major, sorry for lack of specifics – anonymity and all.
UW is really frustrating me right now, because they led everyone to wait for March 1 for their admission decisions, but instead we have to wait during this period of uncertainty, twidling our thumbs. I’m so stressed out people.
Also, did anyone see that @UWadmissions said if we didn’t get an offer of acceptance yet, we probably didn’t get it? That’s whack.
@WolfBlood Last year on the first day many people received their acceptances through their net ID also I did not see that post from from @UWadmissions do you mind linking it for me
I’ve checked out the #newhuskies2018 on my socials and no one has really posted saying they’ve got in yet besides like student athletes that signed with them in the fall and so that’s a good sign I think.
I don’t know…
@WolfBlood As announced today and yesterday, we have not released decisions yet, and the window is March 1st - 15th. We are still in the selection process. I’m not sure who @UWadmissions is but you can rest assured they are not apart of our office @UWadmissionstaff .
MODERATOR’S NOTE: All posts by UWadmissions were removed and the account closed.
what are the two waves?
I was just looking at myUW and under Official Test Scores it says “None.” I know I sent in SAT and AP scores. Has anyone else noticed this on their myUW accounts? I’m worried that they somehow were not received and I was never notified that something was missing.
@GeometryBoy It should have your SAT score on your MyUW. Contact them ASAP to see if they received it.
@UW2022SEA Thanks for the information. I will call them first thing in the morning.
@UW2022SEA The moderator @vonlost has forwarded our request to be verified. We are waiting for the verification email. We joined quickly to help let you know updates and hopefully put some of your anxieties to rest. We realize there is a lot of speculation going around on this thread and we want to be transparent and give you the real information.
@UWadmissionstaff we very much appreciate that you have been available and clear in responding to everyone.
@UWadmissionstaff , you are a true leader – all other colleges should follow you and have a CC presence. By posting here, you are reaching a lot of anxious students and parents.
@UmaSridhar How is that a contradiction when post #192 comes after #163 which makes post #192 a correction rather than a contradiction?
@Qnaiin , some one from admission office who joined CC to help us with some direction on decision dates and making this kind of error and correcting is little strange.
I have a UW NetID and MyUW already because of UW in High School, but on MyUW I don’t have access to any of the application status stuff. I don’t see anything that has to do with me being an applicant. Is this how it’s suppose to be for applicants who already had a MyUW set up before?
Good evening @UmaSridhar ! Our decision window is March 1st through March 15th, meaning decisions can come out at any time between that 15 day time frame. Whomever told you it would be March 1st, I sincerely apologize. Again, it has been another record breaking year with over 45,000 freshman applicants and we are just finishing up the process. Please be patient and you will hear from us soon.
