i got that too and it’s the “prospective student” and the “incoming freshman” that’s putting me on edge. it cannot be a bad thing, right?
For the people who got that email, are you guys planning on taking stem majors?
Architecture. I guess that’s considered stem because it qualified me for the WSOS scholarship which is for those majoring in high-demand stem fields.
@Sumaya123 yeah neuro
i applied for nursing major
Yea me too with CS. In that case, I think they sent that out to all Stem majors, and it really has nothing to do with the decisions about acceptance.
@Sumaya123 I’m architecture and I did not receive that email
My son is a bio major and received it. (Technically undeclared life sciences)
@jwbbb7 did you apply for WSOS?
I didn’t apply to WSOS @Sumaya123
@Eas419 @CaBeachMom did you guys apply to WSOS?
@jwbbb7 I’m thinking it probably automatically sent out to the people who applied to WSOS
@RiverNile I think they only send that out to underrepresented students
i didnt apply to wsos but i got it
Well I’m full white and born here so…Idk if thats the case
I applied for engineering and did not get it.
After numerous calls admissions confirms its a no go for today.
