Has anyone gotten the acceptance letter out of state? (so exciteddd)
@musicmeister22 I haven’t gotten mine yet
Admitted, Engineering Undeclared. I got the news via email. OOS (California) white male, 3.98 W, 35 ACT. Lots of ECs and sports but no major “leadership” stuff, eg team captain, class pres, etc. Strong essays. Best of luck to all in this stressful process.
Hey! Just checked my portal and was admitted! I have been reading previous comments and am a bit confused.
This is what it says in my portal:
You requested the following major(s): Bioengineering
Your assigned major: Pre Major (Arts & Sciences)
From what I can tell, this isn’t a good thing. Can someone explain to me what this means?
@c0ll3g3g1rl You needed Engineering Undeclared to have direct to college benefits.

D was accepted, in-state (east side of state) her portal was updated Sat. and her acceptance letter arrived today. 1300 SAT, no ACT 3.7 gpa unewighted, lots of leadership, 8 AP classes, first generation college student, strong diversity essay (at least all her readers thought so!)
just got in for pre architecture & urban planning! 32 act, 3.75 uw gpa, strong essays & extracurriculars. OOS female.
3 people at my school with below 3.3 gpa, 1-2 rigorous classes in all of their high school career, doesn’t do extracurriculars at all and cheats off me and my friends all the time got in… i don’t feel so special about my admittance anymore lol.
I got admitted today, but it says pre-science? I applied for astronomy and physics, and the website says those are pre-physical science. I’m fine with not being admitted directly, but does this mean something I’m unaware of? Thanks in advance
