Just waitlisted. I have around a 4.3 weighted GPA and a 34 ACT. I’m not too sad, because UW isn’t one of my top choices, but this does make me super nervous for UCs and other schools. Congrats to everyone who got in !

How do you check a portal update?
So sad for my daughter! She got wait listed and this was by far her first choice (OOS applicant from TX) She was 6 for 6, including U of Texas, Florida, Fl St, but visited in January and absolutely fell in love with Seattle. She’ll do the waitlist, but will now attend University of Oregon I guess, because she so much wants to be in the Northwest.Congrats to all who got in.
Waitlisted, and now I’m stressed about future decisions. They really like high UW GPA in OOS applicants, I guess.
The fact that I got waitlisted makes me even more nervous about other schools I applied to that I haven’t heard back from yet

I applied to the College of Engineering for computer engineering, but got: Pre Major (College of Arts and Sciences). Does that mean I got general admission not related to engineering, or am I on track for majoring in computer engineering?
