Felt a little bit sorry for my D. We both misunderstood the messy application process UW has. She chose CS as the first major and Informatics as the second, didn’t find out until today that she wouldn’t be considered for Informatics Direct to Major if the CS is denied. Otherwise, she could have chosen the Informatics as the first choice. Now she intends to go to WSU’s CS (admitted with some scholarship ) and throws out the UW’s presci admission.
