@newnorg nope
I’m in the same boat as @newnorg. Any engineering applicants heard anything?
I haven’t
What do you think makes them release acceptances like this? Are those accepted early top picks? Or could it be incomplete files, a financial aid thing, etc?
My file has been complete since well before the deadline and I am still waiting…
Accepted. Was in a biochem class. Almost screamed.
I checked my old email address today and found that I received an email about my decision status last Monday. Lol, whoops! Got on MyAppVU and found out I was accepted though!
@ilikewatermelon just made a fb group facebook /groups/353083564887918/ for vandy transfers!
Does anyone know if they notify throughout the week or only on Mondays?
Only mondays, according to various people on this forum
Hi All! I figured I would post my stats
Accepted to CAS for Molecular and Cellular Biology
Coming from a school that’s regionally ranked (top 5)
High school GPA: 4.04
Ranked 4/89
ACT Composite: 30
English: 34
Math: 28
Science: 28
Reading: 31
I took many APs and did well in them, but I did not submit any scores before being accepted
College GPA: 3.96
I was involved in many activities in both high school and college… I had 3 professors that knew me very well write me rec letters, as well as 2 high school teachers. I also think my essays were fairly strong; I think I really created a case for myself as to why Vanderbilt is the right fit.
Congrats to everybody who has been accepted, and good luck to those still waiting!
How much time do you guys have until replying to Vanderbilt? Some say two weeks, but others say three.
@oregonivorytower For me they said two weeks. I received the decision yesterday and they give me until the 27th.
If this matters to anyone but me: the financial packages are not yet fully online, so give it a while if you didn’t get what you expected
@screenjunkie Did you call and ask about this? If so, did they say that they were not fully finished with everybody’s financial aid package?
@zbt123 I called the financial aid office, and they said that they are not don with putting together the packages yet.
I’m under the impression that they’re done some peoples, not others
@screenjunkie was there a PDF of your financial aid award letter posted?
No. I had nothing except that I had applied for it in the fin aid status tab. I assume if you got a letter yours is compelte
Hey guys! I figured I’d share my stats.
