[li] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: I think being a URM helped me a lot given my extracurricular activities are fairly generic.[/li][/ul]General Comments: I actually found out about my acceptance back in February after receiving an invitation to attend the MOSAIC event. I am definitely looking to attend Vanderbilt university mostly in part because of the generous financial aid package - no loans - that I was offered. Plus, Vanderbilt has the academic and social environments I am looking for. Go 'Dores!

It’s April 4th and I still haven’t gotten any notice from Vanderbilt… Do they only snail mail it to us?

You should have received a letter by now. I suggest calling the admissions office.

[ *] Strengths: ACT scores, course load, maybe teacher recs?
[ *] Weaknesses: no research, nothing spectacular in ECs, poor grades (alot of Bs, 1 C) in Junior/senior years
[ *] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected:I was kind of surprised that I was accepted into Vandy, I was thinking I was going to be rejected since I had nothing special. I guess they saw I just messed up a portion of HS but I was still strong in Science/Math which I wanted to get accepted into.
[ /list][ b]General Comments:[ /b] UChicago-W(had a really good essay for the abstract question), WashU-R,Northwestern-R, Case Western-A, Saint Louis-A,UIC-A, UIUC-A (Bioengineering), Benedictine-A. I got a very good financial aid package. So much so that it was the cheapest option even commuting to Benedictine (a university 2 miles away from home) would be more expensive. coupled with the fact that Vandy is a great school I am going :)
