i’m pretty sure most of us will hear back tomorrow though.

abhi, do you mind sharing your stats?

Hey guys,
I just got an email from Financial Aid asking for additional info to put together my estimated Financial Aid package but I haven’t received anything in the mail yet as far as an admissions decision.

Is this a good sign?

seems like it got a similar email for University of Richmond and then got in haha

Applied for FA and didn’t get the email… Nooooo

but I was missing materials haha

Has anyone recieved their packages at school or have they all gone to your permanent address? Did you guys even list your school addresses?

i put my school address

Hope to hear from more people today

Yeah. I wonder if only acceptances (because they’re priority mail) are hearing so far. My theory is that that sent all kinds of first wave decisions but, if they did everything like freshman admissions, the WL and Denials are going regular mail, so we may not hear about those for a couple of days. Then they’ll continue to “roll out” decisions until they reach their cap of 220 transfers, through people accepting their decisions, then taking people off the WL. Which means this could go on awhile. AAAAAHHHHHHHH.

The Vandy admissions blog says that all Transfer decisions (Accept or Reject or WL) are mailed out using First-Class mail (aka regular mail - the slowest one). According to the USPS shipping calculator, all of the lower 48 states should receive decisions today at the latest IF your decision was mailed out on April 19th.

And there was lots of speculation on last year’s thread too about whether rejects and WL offers are mailed out later. But it is hard to tell because people who are rejected or WLed are less likely to post

Ayed00 said he/she got a large priority mail envelope Saturday, so I was wondering if Vandy changed this year.

I think that First-Class mail only takes one day when the destination is that close (Nashville → Just outside Nashville). Hopefully most of us will receive decisions today!

Nothing today… in Indiana.

Got no mail in Boston… If acceptances are shipped using priority mail then I am expecting the worst. But for now, no news from MA.

nothing today in SC

I got accepted today. It was sent to my school address in upstate New York. I don’t yet know if i’m going to enroll, I like my current school alot.

@URHopeful,
OMG I just realized that we are from the same school ! Oh if you got the acceptance letter today, I have to prepare for worst news. Huge Cong!!! Do you mind telling me when did you get the letter?

I also got my acceptance letter today!! It was sent to my college in long isalnd, new york. I noticed that the latest day to reply is May 3rd, but I wont even have most of my decisions by that date :(

My mail doesn’t come for another 2 hours but I’m hoping for the best. Congrats URHopeful, and if you don’t mind answering, did your acceptance come in a priority mail envelope or just a first-class white packet?
