Hey guys! I’ve been reading this post for the last week or so, but I just received my acceptance letter today!! So excited

Decisions for students who submitted by the priority deadline were mailed Friday. So if you haven’t gotten it, it is probably just still in the mail :)

neurotransfer
Did you hear that from someone in admissions? I had my app complete before the deadline but have not yet received anything, so I am curious.

wait…all priority deadline decisions were mailed friday??

No - I called admissions today. All transfer admissions decisions will be sent out each Friday until the class is full.

Also - people who have been accepted (especially those who just now created a CC account/posts on this thread) - could you please post your stats?

Thanks :)

Accepted from Maryland! Didn’t receive any info about aid though. For those accepted have you received your aid package yet?

Yes, I heard that directly from the admissions office earlier today (see last page) when I asked how we would know if we were in the first wave.

Thanks for the information, neurotransfer.
Hopefully we receive some good news tomorrow, then.

Wait…all priority deadline apps have already been decided on? Well I think there goes my chances, especially since we don’t even know of a single rejection that was mailed today. I really wanted to have the second semester prove myself, since I had a W and a B+ the first one. Next year, I guess.

Rejected in Texas. Small, plain envelope.

Meh, knew it was a long shot being a ward of the state since Vandy is need-aware. Ivy League first-year, 35 ACT, massive EC’s.

So moral of my story, apparently financial need is taken really seriously in Vandy transfer admissions?

Either that or perhaps overqualified? I know kids at Brown and Dartmouth that received rejections from Vandy for no apparent reason.

Ha… First of all I am sorry… Secodly if you did not get in I’m not getting in cause I needed a buttload of f.a.

Did anyone on the west coast get a letter today?

Well, no news in CA. Since I’m assuming priority mail would have made it to CA by today, I’m expecting WL or denial by regular mail tomorrow or Weds.

I’m sorry Neurotransfer. It’s been nice hanging with you. And, agreed, if your stats didn’t get you accepted, I’m doomed.

Neurotransfer, if you got rejected…then what hope is there for the rest of us!

Dang, neurotransfer, I’m in Texas and didn’t get anything…

Aw, it’ll be okay, everyone I was a unique applicant, so don’t take too much from it. I’ll let you know where I end up!

Sorry about your rejection, neurotransfer. Good luck to you, wherever you end up.

I don’t know what to expect now. I wonder if all of us who made the priority deadline but have not yet received decisions should expect rejections in the next day or two, or if there is a possibility that some of the priority mail acceptance letters are just taking longer. I have read that priority mail is delivered in 2-3 days, depending on flight times in particular areas.

Has anyone from the Midwest heard back yet?

I received a completed application email on February 19, so I’m feel like I should have received something by now if I were to be accepted. With that said, I think that means that I was not a definite yes (which doesn’t surprise me - my stats were not as good as y’all’s!). So, either I will luckily be accepted, I will be wait listed sometime soon-ish (maybe), or there is a rejection letter on its way here in the next few weeks or so.
