will be passing up my offer so there’s one more slot for the waitlisted. Congrats to all of you getting in! Vandy was super generous with their aid offer and it is my #1 target for medical school. Hopeful to be joining all of you in Nashville in 24 months.

My application is still being reviewed too! Puts me at ease for the next few days… At least I won’t receive my rejection for a while ;)

I was certain that UT Austin would be the last place that I would hear back from since I have to send my final grades… Not at this rate. :|

omg, ACCEPTED :’)!
I’m so thankful for this - I was almost expecting a rejection after hearing nothing for so long.
International here btw.

oops double post~ sorry

Congrats, Millionth. I feel like we’ve been on parallel tracks. I have a UMich acceptance too, and I’m also econ. Unless I get into Vandy, I’ll be headed to UNC though. Where are you in school now?

hi newtocollege thank you! Yeah, indeed we are! I’ve actually made the deposit for UMich already and they’ve also given me 60 credits so I’ll need to see if Vanderbilt is willing to give me that many credits before making a decision. Also, I’m waiting on other colleges as well currently, so yeah.

Well I’m currently on exchange at UCLA but I’m from a large, researched-based, public university in Asia. I think they must have known how severely we grade there (average GPA ~2.7), so my 3.4 gpa must have meant something although it sounds low by US standards lol.

Also, for the rest of you guys waiting - I did the full IB (38 pts) and my SATs were CR800/M740/W730. ECs were mostly finance related - trading competitions, internships, student ambassadorships with banks, etc - with some academic awards thrown in.

Does anyone know if they will be sending out more decisions during this week, like they did last week?

Shaw, the acceptances last week were dated Monday and Tuesday, so I’d say yeah.

Anyone have a clue as to how many batches are left?

Accepted!
I got a letter in the mail this past weekend (it came in a priority mail package) which was dated May 7th. I also got my financial aid package together with my acceptance letter (I received 60k in grants!). Currently deciding between Vandy, UVA, NYU, and Emory and am strongly considering Vandy cause of the significant aid. Good luck to all!

@ilovekoreanfood can you share your stats?

I had a long thoughtful answer to one of your PMs written and then CC told me I needed 15 posts to answer it. That’s the reason for this here post.

^ thanks man!

Given the absence of posts today I’m assuming no one received anything as well? Strange that no one has received any letter mailed last Friday or anytime this week yet

Maybe some of us will receive decisions later this week. It doesn’t seem that the letters are being mailed out every Friday, like they were at the beginning of the cycle.

If someone would have told me (back in November/December when I started my application) that it would take 2 months and counting to hear anything, I would have been like whaaaat?!

so besides the four of us above, who all is still waiting for decisions? Some people have dropped ou of sight, and I’m wondering if they got denials/waitlists last week.

I am still waiting in NY! I highly doubt they have finished reviewing my app… got tired checking this forum everyday since always nada in mailbox >.<

I wouldn’t say I’m frustrated with the wait as I’m pretty sure we’ll all here by next week.

What makes me nervous is the amount of acceptances vs rejections we’ve seen on this board.
