<p>omg i seriously thought people were ■■■■■■■■ earlier but…it’s true. the chicago waitlist is open cause i just got in too! the regional counselor for mass called me and told me that he has to advocate ppl to the dean of admissions for admission from the waitlist. i said yes, he said that they’d send me a favorable decision in 24 hrs DD</p>
<p>i wrote a few emails to him, had my college counselor call, went to a college fair (for the juniors at my school) and said hi to him before the fair and gave him a few essays and a recommendation from my club advisor. </p>
<p>ALKDJFKLADJF CONGRATS TO EVERYONE AND IM SO EXCITED TO BE AT CHICAGO NEXT YEAR!!! don’t lose hope!</p>
<p>^^ but um no. i think they call you. they called my dorm phone (boarding school heh, but i wasn’t there and i emailed him my cellphone and he called me and it all worked out :D)</p>

<p>Right, on the international student waitlist situation, I just got a reply from the admissions officer. “Hopefully we will know soon whether there will be available spots off the waitlist.”</p>
<p>If they don’t know by now, I assume they are full on the international front. The only hope now is the Ivy waitlistees and people admitted to Oxbridge under a condition.</p>

<p>Canadians are treated like American citizens & permanent residents in the admissions process, so I’m not sure you count ;)</p>
