<p>Q&A says that 600 North Carolina residents and 500 out of state students are waitlisted. That is a lot of students - does not look very promising.</p>

<p>BostonVillanova’s numbers are correct for last year. If you check the Common Data Set for UNC, you will see waitlist statistics from previous years. Last year seemed to be very unusual, previous years looked to average about 25% admits from the group that accepted the waitlist status offer.</p>
