just admitted off the waitlist!
was anyone offered financial aid? i was told that i didn’t qualify and i’m not sure whether it’s because i was waitlisted or because i simply don’t qualify.

Wow AU is starting the waitlist pretty early this year. Must have a good amount of space.

^Congrats you two! Would you mind posting your stats?

It’s weird because I never joined the official waitlist…

SATs: CR 660 M 680 W 640 {1980}
GPA: 3.8
Very strong extra curriculars with pretty decent leadership
White/Male

I’m too lazy to think of any other contributing factors. I probably won’t attend because it’s too expensive. I had to turn down GW for the same reason, and unless I find an extra 7 or 8 thousand a year, Northeastern it is. It’s really sad, because I’ve wanted to go to American since the 7th grade.

Did AU call you, and how much time did they give you to make a decision? Deposit already sent to GW, but still would prefer AU.
