For those who were rejected or waitlisted: these decisions are so arbitrary, so random, they are not in any way whatsoever a judgement on you or your high school career. It can literally come down to things as random as if your admissions counselor woke up grumpy that morning. Don’t let it get you down - you are going to freaking college next year.
