Official Wednesday PSAT Discussion

shouldn't that process be automated though? the computers should be able to sort out qualifiers and cutoffs easily...

what was the answer to the last question about the black historian passage?

what was the question?

we need jurcho! I can't remember the black historian passage

anyone know any questions besides the "rivalry" one?

the one with the quotes around the phrases, and a ( ) for the line numbers.

one of them was "historical documents", line xx

another was "historical books" line xx

I remember putting "Historical books" with quite a bit of confidence.

the other four were related to either the author or the mother

i think i put the 4th one. but i am not sure

if i remember correctly, historical books, which is what i put, was answer C.

is that the one referring to academic traditional methods of historical studies? if that one is i put on that one.

yes, it was historical books.

i put historical information about buildins or something like that.

about what week of december do we get results?

I remember last year our school got them the third week of December, right before we got out for Christmas holidays... Hopefully its a little earlier this year.

we'll find out sooner if we knew the questions now

For the psych passage, one answer had to do with "deceit" in relation to the "mediums"

I know there were others

I wish someone who has the test booklet would just scan all the pages and post it (after Saturday, of course, so the Saturday test takers don't get an unfair advantage and know the types of questions on the test)

Well, D has crashed. She lurked and laughed and hoorayed as new answers were posted. Billyum became her champion (She sure hopes you did well) .Booed and hissed when other posters answers didn't match hers. It was really a strange (but fun)experience . Where do you think she is scorewise if she missed 1 Math, 3 CR, and 7 Writing ?

according to the bulletin, if she didn't omit, that would be 77M + 74CR + 69W = 220
that's awesome :)

78-79 math, 75 ish CR, and 73 on writing?

i really dont know

What was Q. 48 on the CR. I seem to remember it being easy?
