Essays:I think this was the strongest element of my application. Atistic, lots of imagery, strong statements about why I love Welleseley. Then I ended my essay saying that on that Harry Potter monstrosity, I knew it was a perfect fit. My common app essay was strong also, and was a series of vignettes about my trip to Africa when I was four.
Teacher Recommendation: I had my AP English, and AP Chemistry 2 teacher do them. My chem teacher has known me for two years, and my English teacher has known me for two as well.
Counselor Rec: It was pretty standard, but she did say that I was mature :).
Interview: The interview blew me away, because it was so much fun! I didn’t prep bc I did soooo much college research, that I knew what I was going to say. I spoke from the heart, and iit was a great conversation! She was so excited and enthusiastic about Wellesley, that I became really excited as well. I already love the school, but I got all my questions answered and I can’t wait to meet her at the luncheon later on this month
I also recommend that you get an interview if you can. It gave me a chance to discuss my college choices, and see what was best for me.</p>
