As the mother of a wonderful Wellesley woman from the class of 2011, congratulations to all accepted! My daughter loves it there so much. Financial aid great! Work study very good also. The option to cross register with so many other colleges a big plus, but she is happy at Wellesley and has not taken advantage yet, maybe MIT next year. We are so happy that Wellesley sent a letter 3 years ago, explaining they were seeking women excelling in science and prompting her to apply. We applied before the deadline, got in, but did not make a final decision to attend until the open house in the Spring of 2007. The moment we stepped into the campus, it felt like a home away from home. No homesickness the first year of attendance, that’s how so much she felt she belonged. She is happy, I am happy, graduation soon! Good luck all!
Pozzol; you do sound like the kind of woman who makes Wellesley unique and diverse! I would encourage you to email or follow up with a letter, outlining why you belong in Wellesley. They pride in creating diversity and you would make a great addition. Please follow up with an email to admissions or your contact(person signing letter or contacting you, if any)
Good luck to you

congratulations to all the acceptances! yay! I got my decision online, and now i’m just waiting for my package/envelope to arrive! For all the domestic applicants, can you write down what the package looks like? Is it big, purple or blue? or small, plain and white? and what’s inside it??? HAHHAH i’m just way too excited right now!!
