Waitlisted. I’m going to get an ulcer from this stress. I was waitlisted at Barnard too so I knew that there was a high possibility of this since they share many applicants…

Accepted. With the most amazing financial aid. :') I LOVE WELLESLEY!

Still waiting from california…i hope i get in!

accepted: Duke

Pozzol

Accepted from Cali, and with amazing financial aid - best letter ever to come home to!

ditto about the financial aid!!! but i’m going to have a very hard time deciding between colgate and wellesley :(

congratulations everyone who gets accepted!
I am still waiting for my financial aid package as I am international. Any international students here get the package yet? Wellesley is my first choice till this moment, so I am really worried about my financial aid. Now it is Easter week in my place (costa rica) and I suppose that the package would come after this week (which is quite long) Hope things turn out to be ok.

Good luck to every one else who is still waiting for decisions

So, financial aid. We called them pretty much immediately after receiving the letter and told them that the financial package was impossible, trying to play up Smith’s offer ($30,000 in gift aid–which I didn’t expect Wellesley to match, but it would be a good place to start). The woman there hemmed and hawed and eventually said, “Maybe we can find more,” but didn’t sound too optimistic. So it looks like Wellesley may have narrowed my choices for me, but we’ll see what they can come up with. :/

Congratulations to all who were accepted! A personal note was written at the bottom of my acceptance letter…the dean of admissions said that the board enjoyed reading the wonderful essay about my family tree. [li] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected:I don’t know, Home schooling applications are sort of unpredictable as so much is left to interpretation and the person making your transcript etc. has never done it before. I’m not really too surprised since I got a “possible” letter a few weeks ago. [/li][/ul]General Comments: Congrats to everyone who got in, and good luck to everyone reading this as we try to figure out where we are going to college. These next few weeks are going to be stressful.

Just in case any one was wondering I got in the University of Missouri-Columbia, Truman State University, University of Washington-Seattle, Vanderbilt and Washington University in St. Louis. I got rejected by Northwestern . I am currently waiting on two more schools. :)

It happened in slow motion. My brother handed me the letter and it was large, then I saw WELLESLEY printed in the front and I just knew I pryed it open, and there it was. “Congratulations, you’ve been admitted to Wellesley class of 2014”. I screamed in front of the mailbox for five minutes, and then I opened my financial aid, and BAM! Wellesley Financial Aid = $40,800. Parental Contribution $12,000! It was a miracle! I prayed so hard for this, but I never thought it would be possibe. AND I got a free trip to the spring open…I’m blown away. And I am most definitely matriculating. Wellesley was my first choice. Congrats to all the other acceptees! Waitlist/rejecties, I know how you feel…I got rejected to Smith AND Barnard. Barnard crushed me the most, but I find prayer and friends help, and KNOW that rejection really doesn’t mean the end of the world…there’s a whole host of good schools. Perhaps, Wellesley isn’t in the cards for you right now :D

Still waiting from Orange County, CA!

( : It has to be tomorrow!

definitely. I got mine, and I live in Texas. So, yours shall come tomorrow probably. Big envelope for you, ocgril92! hopefully :D
