eloiseee, did you sign on to the Wesleyan class of 2014 on Facebook?

My daughter is a public school student from NYC. She is very excited about her acceptance to Wesleyan, but she is mindful of the feelings of those who had less happy news. She has not been overtly ecstatic.

Congrats again. Good luck with this thread.

I’m excited, of course! Lol I just can’t wait for senior year to be over. I’m tired of my school.

Anyway, my name’s Chelsie and I’m from Connecticut. I’m still not believing I got in. It feels unreal. Does anyone else feel that way?

i feel the exact same way! i don’t feel so alone now lol.

It’s extremely surreal. i’m happy and all, but at the same time it’s like “wow, i am actually IN” that’s going to take a while to sink in. I feel like i’m kind of in this hazy dream

by the way, i’m lizzy from florida :)

Hey there everybody.

I’m Sam (as if my username didn’t already give that away) from Dallas, TX (long ways away from CT!).

Totally agree that it hasn’t really sunk in yet, hopefully it will soon though!!

Wow, Dallas, TX… that isn’t far at all lol. I’m sure the winters will be tough for you at first but you’ll get used to it, might even love it. I don’t, but some people seem to love the snow. I’ve moved between CT and FL since fourth grade and just moved back again two summers ago and I still can’t stand the cold weather. I miss the warm weather so much. The summer here isn’t even that warm.

I don’t think I’ll feel like I go there until fall comes around. Even then, it probably won’t seem true. I feel so lucky.
