Hopeful_Underdog: I hope everyone here get’s accepted but I have a feeling the only people that posted on the Darmouth thread were acceptances. Everyone else was probably too depressed : / Haha but I’ve told everyone I’m going to check right at noon and I don’t think I would be able to take the anticipation!

That’s true! I think I’ll post pretty quickly even if I am rejected/deferred though.

Hopefully you’ll bring some good news back to your calc class!

About whoever is taking a bathroom break: Maybe disappointed face means that going to the bathroom didn’t go too well? haha.

I’ll probably in my room refreshing the page. As to what I will be doing at 3:01, I have no idea. The Dartmouth results are kind of deceiving. The people who get in are the ones who get excited and post their results on the internet and anywhere else they can find. Like, if you get rejected, are you really going to run to this site so you can tell the world about it?

Also on the Dartmouth thread the kids who got in had crazy stats. 2300+ SATs everywhere it seemed.

That’s true. But I think I’ll post my results pretty immediately. I already have the stats page typed up… I just need to enter “rejected” or “deferred” or whatever into the decision section up top. I wonder what I’ll be putting!!!

does anyone think that the website will get overloaded at 3 and for a little while? i’ll be so upset if i get home and click the link to see that the page is down.

^Maybe for a few minutes. I don’t see how that would happen if there are only 3500 people who will be there…?

I NEED HELP!

Do I go home early since I don’t have class last period to check it at home…alone? Or should I do it in school?

I run the risk of being hysterical and crying at school…but on the upside it’s good I will be with all my friends?

What do you guys think? I honestly do not know which on to do!!

@braniac
i have the same problem. i’ve chosen (as of right now) to check at school in an abandoned classroom

Do it at school. The emotions won’t hit you right away if there are people around.

But I don’t think it is going to happen…and I am afraid I will have a breakdown in school. A lot of my other friends will be getting into Ivy’s/Amazing schools so I would feel horrible!!

You really think school would be better?

Don’t wait. You’re going to have to tell people anyways. Maybe don’t let them see the actual screen haha but still do it there

A lot of my friends at my old school had better grades and stuff than me but they aren’t applying to a single ivy league. So if I get in it’ll be kind of historical for the school. It’s a competitive school, and high level, but for some reason all the kids just settle for state school.

Dancing at an assembly… i’m sprinting off the stage and then running home to check. so scared…

In a school library lol

Probably breakdance w/ my gangs for like 30 mins then go to school library to check it out man this is exciting lol

I’m actually gonna skip the last two classes to run home (3 miles) and probably arrive at 1:00 pm and spend 2 hours clicking the refresh button.

i’ll be at lunch. we have a big school fundraiser involving all the clubs that do, so i’ll be busy selling stuff, but i’ll run to check the results in the library with my friend. i’m so scared :(

Probably speeding like crazzzyyy to come home as close to 3 as possible. If a cop tries to pull me over… Im just going to make a run for it :)

At Spring Play tryouts, trying to pour my anxiety and emotion into my audition. However, this could easily end in me sprinting out of the building and burning rubber on the way home to find out. There’s no way I’m looking while I’m at school…cringe
