~35 ACT</p>
<p>ACT is so much easier in my opinion. I got a wayyyyyyyyyyyy higher score on reading than I would get on SAT. I got a 32 reading on ACT while i got a 510 reading on the SAT. Overall, I did way better than the ACT</p>
<p>I like the ACT better.</p>
<p>SAT: 1960 (680R, 650M, 630W)
ACT: 33 (32E, 32M, 32R, 35S)</p>
<p>both were 1st time, no studying, not super-scored.</p>
<p>The ACT:
-Does not try and trick you
-Has no guessing penalty
-Is a better measure of <em>practical</em> ability, in my opinion</p>
<p>I like the SAT better. (760m/750w/670cr) + (34m,34e,32r,32sc) The ACT time limits are brutal for the last two sections, and there is less time to think. The SAT questions are harder, but the test’s format is easier. However, the SAT critical reading section is insane because of the vocab, and the essay time limit is BAD and factored into your score.</p>
<p>ACT… more straight-forward test, and they dont test vocab.
SAT: 2000 (640 cr, 710 M, 650 W)
ACT: 31 (32 E, 33 M, 26 R, 34 S) dunno what happened on reading…

<p>I think the ACT is easier. 2060 and 32 both without studying on my first tries. Even then, I had some previous experience with the SAT (7th grade) and PSAT formats. I had never seen the ACT format. I still don’t understand how I managed to get a perfect science my first time…</p>
<p>I like the SAT better as a test, but from observations, I say the SAT is harder, but it still depends on the person. I have seen a kid with a 34 not able to crack 2200 and score lower than 2100. He also superscored 35 but superscored 2230 only. (35 math; 680 math) I also have seen a kid get a 31 and not break 2000. And a 35 not break 2300, but very close. </p>
<p>For me, I’m a 15 year old junior who actually did better on the SAT than on the ACT.
I had 2360 on the first try; I have 34 as well.</p>
<p>I do better on the SAT as it tests logic, not silly rules. It’s the most like an IQ test.</p>

<p>ACT: 35 composite, 35 E, 35 M, 33 R, 35 S
SAT: 2260. 720 CR 800 Math 740 W</p>
<p>ACT questions were by far easier, but the greater number of questions, often harsh curves and significant decrease in time make the SAT more favorable in my opinion.</p>
<p>ACT is wayyy easier IMO. The sections aren’t as tricky and there’s no penalty for guessing. The only thing that makes it harder is you HAVE to work as fast as humanly possible.</p>
<p>ACT: 30 Composite, 36 E, 33 M, 24 R, 27 S
SAT: 1820 Composite, 550 CR, 680 M, 590 W</p>
<p>Seem to fit in with most of the others; ACT seems to be easier:
34 ACT (30 E, 36 M, 33 R, 35 S, 12 E)
2120 SAT (650 CR, 760 M, 710 W, 11 E)</p>
<p>Both were my second tries.</p>

<p>any test is easy if you know the answers and/or how to take it. my kids used to be split right down the middle as to which was easier. it really depended on their strengths…the ACT is such a time demon that many were swallowed by it. I personally, having taken both and aced both (I own a tutoring company although I now am in college admissions), find the SAT to be easier … it’s much easier to “beat”. It’s much more logical and "reason"able.</p>
<p>silly thread. For perhaps ~80-90% of the population, the tests are equally easy (or difficult). Only a small proportion perform much better on one than the other.</p>
<p>Most of the people that I’ve talked with about ACT/SAT have performed much better on one than the other…</p>
