yupe i think most of us here that are interested with brown is their " learning for learning sake" ideology... btw how to improve CR and Writing? My third language is English, and taking toefl helps?? Good Luck!

^I don't mean to sound condescending, but the fact that English isn't your first language isn't really an excuse for low scores (of course I don't know what range yours are in)... it's my third language as well and I have an 800 in CR, 710 in W, and 750 in Literature. I'm not saying this to brag, just don't expect them to be very lenient in that regard. To improve your scores, aside from reading, which always helps, I'd suggest taking practice tests from the blue "Real SATs" book. Good luck! :)

RD here.
SATI 2260.
GPA 3.9 UW, 4.4 W.
im not completely in love with brown, but it is a top choice.

For the PLME question, a rep from Brown came and visited my area on Sunday and I asked him that question. According to him, if you apply ED for PLME, you have about a 7.5% acceptance rate, and RD is about 5%.

Oh, wow. That's encouraging. :] Thanks Shobhit!
