*General Comments: Congrats Everyone!!! *

Clay,
Sorry, did I come off sounding like I wanted to put everyone's names with their aliases so it's easier to know each person's stats? That's not what I meant at all! SAT scores are hardly important - the fact that someone got into Williams says loads about them anyways! It's just easier to recognise other stuff that you might have talked about, that you can go back to and find common ground you know?
I've just never really gotten this whole alias thing.

But thanks for the suggestion!

Oh and CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who got in...hope you all choose Williams, because it ROCKS!

*Decision: Accepted! *

General Comments:

Got into Amherst too. But not Wesleyan, which was my first choice...strange.

Omg!!! Wesleyan didn't accept you when Amherst and Williams did??? That is sooo effed up! You should totally write them an angry letter.

Haha. I am sure it's fate, though.

Ok..I'm an International Student from India and was accepted ED...fell in love with Williams:) (and hate with Amherst..haha) well...looking at the SAT stats, its truly a miracle that I got in..
umm...i play the piano...love music...love to write (intend to be a journalist) ...plan to double major in philosophy and political science (been obsessive about the course catalog!)...and I'm into theatre too. I'm really excited about Williams...love so many things about it...and purple is also my favourite colour..hehe. and i like the idea of no Greek system. oh and so many more things....:p

[ b]General Comments:[ /b] None really...just congrats! and hope to see you in August...

whoa! you were the only girl at your school? that's intense. How did that end up happening? I'm most likely going to williams next year, so I hope we get a chance to meet. what music do you do? I'm a horn player.

hehe...my school is an all boys boarding school...and my mom teaches there..so I had the option to be either there or at an all girls place. both schools are really good...but the girls place had the air of a nunnery..hehe. so i had a nice time...made great friends and did a lot..only prob was that there were the fair share of MCPs who couldn't bear to have me there! I'm completely looking forward to williams... and I play the piano.

I'm glad I didn't read this thread last year when I was applying. Everyone's stats are so high, and it seems like most of the people on this thread are ethnic minorities or international students--I noticed that on Blackboard too. It makes me feel so blah, even though I got in.

It could be that they are mainly the ones who are posting...

I don't quite get why ints or ethnic minorities should make anyone feel "blah.." Maybe it's just me...

Well, I finally made my college decision. Unfortunately, I have decided to accept Princeton's offer of admission.

So, I guess I won't be an Eph next year and will instead be a Princeton Tiger.
