Middlebury is crickets as well. Was Williams also Iike this last year?
@ivyisaplant yeah I’m sure of that information about two non-aid people leaving their spots. I know them on Facebook via a group “The Great Indian Dream”, which is a group of Indians applying to US univs. I sent them an EC update which detailed new developments in my resume, and another one about why I would love to attend Williams (the second one is my strong point, really, as it is a really good essay, I feel). The only problem is, my second update was send on the night of May 3, and I think it might have slipped the attention of the panel (if there was a deliberation session on May 3-4, which is true if someone people got offers on May 4-5, about which we have no info, sadly).Lets see, I have mailed them to ensure that the second update is read by the committee.
@Chembiodad Williams waitlist threads for 2020, 2019 and 2018 were MUCH MORE active than this. Idk what’s wrong this time

This would imply they haven’t sent out the first round of waitlist offers yet. In fact, it seems they haven’t even had a deliberation meeting yet for the waitlists.
@nmocha567 I’m an international who is committed to University of Hong Kong right now. I have waitlists at Williams and Vanderbilt.
@nmocha567, my DD’s both committed to Hamilton, with one still waiting for Middlebury - Williams isn’t a possibility for them anymore. Good luck!

Nope nothing here yet. It’s getting on my nerves tbh, since I absolutely love Williams and it has been my dream college since forever. Let’s see what happens.
I have a feeling if they haven’t taken from the WL then it might be a while until they get back to us… logically if there are openings right now they would start sending out offers to finalize the class quickly

Anyone heard anything new about the waitlist? Any movement?
This is what I received from the International Director of Admissions as a response to my email inquiring about the waitlist:
"Dear asliwelhamite,
We are currently not going to the waitlist, however, this may change in the upcoming weeks. We recommend that you secure a spot at another university/ college and should we admit you off the waitlist, we will be in touch.
Best,
Misha."
I guess that settles it. 
I called Williams and they said they didn’t even start looking at the waitlist yet bc some people didn’t get back to them or something. And they don’t know when or if they will. Idk
Oh thats a bummer… Guess they had decent yield then
