ACCEPTED. gluck to everyone else :]

ACCEPTED!

i'm so happy!!

deferred.

now i don't know whether to apply ED2 to another school or to hang on....this sucks

Deferred.

Ugh, oh well. I guess I'll be waiting until April to know where I'm going. It's not that I mind that I got deferred, it's just that I really hate to have to wait that long to find out where I'm going to end up! :(

Williams is great, and I love it, but in the end, I'll be fine wherever I go. And I'm sure the rest of you who got deferred or denied will be fine to. Look on the bright side, guys! Just know that you'll be happy wherever you end up going, and if not, you can always transfer. Don't sweat it :)

Accepted. Soooo happy. Congrats to the acceptees. Good luck to deferred and denied. There will be a reat place for you.

someday, i hope i may find this reat place.

deferred. i'm with dancergrl on this one, i think i applied ed just so i would know that i'm going to college somewhere. i have absolutely no desire to wait until april, but i guess i don't have much say in that. i also have very little desire to finish the rest of my apps now...

where else are those of us not lucky enough to get in applying? and what percentage of the not accepted people do you think were deferred versus denied?

My account has been locked and I can't even log in!...What happened??T0T

Deferred.

Does anyone know what the percentage of deferred and denied students was?
I think they said that they accepted 225/616?

says here in my letter "As we review more than 7,000 applications this year, it is clear to us that we are making decisions on individual applications in the context of intense competition among a highly qualified group of students. Our first year class, unfortunately, has room for only about one applicant in twelve." .. blablabla...

congrats to everyone who was excepted. I know its a tiny, tiny chance that I'll be accepted RD after being deferred, but I've decided to send Williams some supplementary pieces in hopes of being raising those chances, because Williams is still my first choice. My other schools are Vassar, Bard, Bates, Wesleyan, BC, Clark, and, as a safety, Umass Amherst's Comm College.

deferred. blech... now there's WAAAAAY too much to do! what are other choices? Bowdoin, Conn, Colgate, Colby, maybe Gettysburg and Haverford--got any ideas?

Middlebury is quite similar to Williams.

middlebury looks nice -- I've applied Midd RD. They have nice scenery, and good housing arrangements.
