<p>It could also be released at 5pm (at least, that'd when Brown released their info online)

<p>funny theory about that though - most admissions offices close at 5pm, so if they are released at 5, then people won't be able to call and complain until the next day - kind of the calm before the storm. </p>

<p>Winter Break begins on Tuesday at Williams, so they will likely post the decisions at 5 o clock on Monday afternoon, and not have to field any potentially angry phone calls until January 5th when classes resume.</p>

<p>When decisions are complete and ready to be released we will add a button to the bottom of the Application Status page which will take you to the Decision Status page. This button will not be visible until Early Decision and Regular Decision applications are ready to be announced. If the button becomes visible before your decision is ready, your decision status will be reported as in progress. "</p>
<p>As I've mentioned before, I'm only the mom and I'm stressing out! But you guys all should know that it all works out in the end, even if things don't work the way you think you wanted it! Thirty years ago I got waitlisted for Wesleyan, and went to Kenyon, and it was truly amazing and fabulous. Now I just have to convince my daughter.... ;-)</p>
<p>Ok I've got something important (albeit unofficial) to let everyone know. According to a freshman I know at Williams, even acceptance letters are delivered in small, thin envelopes. This is good to know if you're going to wait for the mail like I'm hoping I can!!</p>

<p>i might have to wait for the mail, which would be very unfortunate (though somewhat satisfying at the same time). i applied through questbridge initially, and then when i wasn't matched i switched my application over to ED, so i never got a username/password to sign into the myapplication site. one of the admissions officers told me she'd email me my decision tomorrow, but i'm not really counting on it. ARGH!</p>
