Official Writing November thread

Ok here were some questions baffling me
16. about black snow or something . i put no error
19. in may, the constructino crew was adding something to a building (i put A. This was NOt the sentence though)
21. Does anyone know if "more than" was wrong?
24-25 (cant remember number). Despite
27-29 were all D (except maybe 27.. the timber one)
on last section what was the answer to the stamp collection? I put A
Also did anyone remember something about achieving goals or something? i put a.
overall 1 no error for me. I think I did mess up a bit though.

one no error as well

Was it the same one as mine? What did you put for all those avant?

i put no error for the last question (some sort of species of animal)

yep i had a slew of D's too, it scared me...this really sucks, cause my experimental writing section was first I think, which I did a whole lot better on than the 2nd cause I was more alert...did your writing section talk about Butler & her scientific writings at the end?

One of mine was on Butler, I think the first. There was one on that like, to end the first paragraph, something like "I wanted to read more of her books" or "i went to new adventures"

The last one was D because it was false comparison. However what did you all put for the other ones. Come on!

yep, so my experimental was the first writing section, damnation.

13 on the last writing section, section 10, had really messed up responses, I had to end up leaving it blank, which was the only writing question i left blank.

Just as heroes and movie starts motivate their fans, so then teachers inspire many students ... I think that was how the original went, and the last part was underlined...what'd you guys put for that?

I didn't have that one...

everyone's last section is the same ...

Dasani, That one was really messed up, the #13 in section 10. It was "Just as movie heroes and sports stars inspire many fans, ____________" I put "so teachers inspire many students." That was the best one I thought, but none seemed even close to right.

was the "more than x years old" one correct or wrong?

What about the quesiton about the countries protecting their artifacts and stuff. I put B (something like as each or something). I did put the more than thing wrong.. it appeared twice on Oct. Test and once before. Its becoming more prevalent. I still don't know if it is though. Over all 1 no error for me.

I know, one answer choice was like "teachers inspire students, and many"

that would've been perfect if and was taken out and many in front of students...they need to throw that question out, I seriously think there was a misprint or something cause all the answers were effed up.

Yeah I kept thinking that question must be a misprint.

Does CB have a service for contesting bad questions?

Bump. Please help me answer my questions. whole reason i took this test was to improve my abysmal writing score.

How many no erors did you all get and which ones were they? I had 1 and it was number 16. Please help me anser my questions pleaSE!! Oh and was the last quesiton (about collecting stamps or something) A?

haha, i had an experimental writing section...and im curious if it was the one that had like 4 straight D's. I figure that might be it, because they'd like to test how many kids would second guess themselves because of it.

brain police, i had 4 straight Ds, but i changed one to E (replacing the stark button answer for the one abt the lawn mower) cause I guess passive voice really isn't a grammar error and i was 2nd guessing myself cause i read so many times that CB would almost never have more than 3 in a row
