They did not ask for it. Since I am a sophomore, I’m pretty sure that it was not required for my application, but I still sent it to them because I figured it would only help my chances.

Your strategy obviously worked! Congrats again.

thanks! feel free to message me if you have any questions

My first rejection this year has finally come haha

Notified via pathway today (or maybe yesterday), completed on Mar 1, class of 2015

Edit:
Wasn’t asked for mid-term report

Hey everybody.

Has anyone who applied the week of the deadline heard? My app was submitted March 11th but processes March 13th (six weeks from this past Wednesday).

Good luck.

I submitted a few days before March 11 and I have already heard back from them, but I also sent a mid-term report later. So, all my materials weren’t in until after the March 15 deadline.

And it just came through in your inbox on WUSTL Pathway?

yeah there was a new tab that said “decision notification”

Okay, good to know. Thanks and congratulations!

congratulations! Do you mind posting your statistics?

sure. here are a few

Accepted

Rising Junior
HS GPA: 3.8 UW, 4.2 W
HS: medium sized public school in CA
HS classes: 7 APs and multiple honors classes
ACT: 31
SAT2: 740 US History

Current School: #1 public university
College GPA: 3.85
Major: Economics or business
Honors/Awards/positions: nothing too special, just your normal AP Scholar etc.
Units: around 57 I think? I am a little surprised because I have not taken a heavy course load like some of the other people on these threads. I would not say I took the easiest classes, but definitely not the hardest ones either. I really only took three academic courses per semester, but a lot of that had to do with classes at my current university being full, so I guess they might have understood that.
ECs: nothing too special either, just a few random things

Essays: strong and showed a lot of character
Recs: probably strong but vague (hard to get to know teachers at large universities)

Honestly, I was not really sure what to expect with the transfer admissions process. The two things that I think helped me the most were my essays and having a high GPA from a really good school that is known to be ultra-competitive and have insane grade deflation. I guess it’s important to note that I never applied to WashU for freshman admission. Still waiting on other decisions, so I’m not sure if I will be attending, but I’m definitely excited!

Just received my acceptance yesterday and the envelope in the mail today.

received my acceptance in an envelope in the mail today

rejected. stats posted above. kind of bummed, but WashU wasn’t my top choice anyway.

anyone else going??

Do we have a facebook page?
