General Comments: Congratulations everybody! It’s finally over, and I’m sure you’ll all go on to do great things. I realized several months ago that I wasn’t a good fit for Yale anyway, but you never know. Brown’s going to hear from me tomorrow (so grateful to be on the wait-list), and even if I never hear anything from them… UW here I come! It’s going to be great next year no matter what. Wow. Rejection has never felt so great. I guess to next year’s applicants, my best advice if you’re reading this would be to find wonderful safeties like I did (and also to stop comparing yourself to other people on this thread!!). Don’t fall in love with reaches. And don’t be afraid to apply anywhere; even if you get rejected it is definitely not the end of the world.
