[li] Why you think you were accepted/deferred/denied: I just couldn’t make myself stand out. There was no compelling reason for Yale to accept me. I probably didn’t do everything that someone with my potential could have done during high school, and as a result, I was passed up by the kids who didn’t waste their talents. Honestly, those kids were just more deserving.[/li][/ul]General Comments: Congratulations to those who did get in, and this year it seems like there were quite a few of you. I’m happy that I still have hope for April, as Yale is my number one choice, but I feel like I’ve started to move on this afternoon by looking at the other schools on my list and realizing how happy I can be at all of them. Best of luck to everyone, and I’m sure I’ll be back at regular decisions time for some closure.</p>
