officially report Aps

does anybody know if any colleges in which u have to officially report AP scores during the admission process instead of once your into the school? When you submit sat scores , does it also send all your SATII scores as well?

no, ap scores and SAT scores are ordered and sent separately (more fees for CB????), so sending one does not send the other. Each college is different on how they treat ap scores if you send them. The adcom at H said he likes to see the ap score...other schools only use them for class placement if accepted.

I meant are SAT and SAT IIS sent seperately or together (not sat and aps). My other question was whether any college requires u send official AP scores in rather then just putting what u got in the app (during the admissions process)... not whether they take it into consideration.

Many colleges do not require you to send the AP scores considering it costs a lot of money but they'll require you to put the APs you took on the application.. and they'll find out if you lied after you are enrolling and sending in the APs for credit...

UNC has a spot on the application especially for AP and IB scores..

i believe that SATs are sent together. otherwise, wouldn`t it be a lot of money to spend on transcripts?

all SAT's are sent together.

ive herad that people can choose to put only 4 and 5s on their college app, and alot hesitate to put 3s on there...whered all thsi talk come from if your obligated to mention all your scores?!?!

u can put as many as u want..
if u dont have enough space on app to put them in, attach a sheet of paper w/ them.. they'll take a look.. ur paying them $60

but u dont have to mention all of them right , like suppose a self study soemthing and do badly do i HAVE to right it?, and yes i checked sat 2s r sent with sat 1s , thanks for the help

quoting from a different thread, i think you have to mention all of them, EVEN if you self-studied for some of the exams and do badly. that`s just how it works, i suppose.

always write all your scores on your application..

the score report is used for verificiation purposes only...

my guidance counselor recommends only reporting 4 and 5s and she generally has a very good repuatiation around here, she said shes never herad of colleges being mad when your score report has APs u didnt list on your application... only if you lie about scores u did put on your application... Also, when do u have to submit a score report in the application process

that`s interesting.

il write them on there to be safe but my main concern was whether the applicant has to submit a offical ap score report to every college during the admission process?

plz answer wit a for sure answer

For $10 per exam per school, you can withhold any AP score from any university. Thus if you want to report all your AP scores to your safety, but only your 4s and 5s to your reach, you can do that.
