<p>IMPORTANT: I'm posting this here because the Oglethorpe University forum is inactive. </p>
<p>I exchanged pleasantries and contact information with an Oglethorpe University representative at my college fair, and now the admissions office is doggedly pursuing me with scholarship offers, a super-easy select application, and boatloads of mail. I was wondering if anyone here knows a lot about Oglethorpe, especially issues pertaining to:</p>
<ul>
<li>Admissions standards (what they're looking for)</li>
<li>Need-based financial aid</li>
<li>General atmosphere of campus (i.e. how studious, how fratty, etc.)</li>
<li>The psychology program</li>
<li>Undergraduate research</li>
<li>Gay acceptance</li>
<li>Quality (not just availablility) of special needs services</li>
</ul>
<p>Just curious. :)</p>
