Oh, boy. Another one of those ...

Okay, the dreaded (and obnoxious) chance me thread. Admissions is a crapshoot, that much I realize. But am I academically qualified?

Basically, I know my stats are pretty mediocre and asking about my “chances” is pretty ridiculous since the whole admissions process is a crapshoot, but I guess I can’t help but post another obnoxious chances thread.

I know the info I've provided doesn't give a holistic picture of what my application will look like, but what are some weaknesses that I could work on (improving my ACT score being one). I'm going to take the SAT Reasoning in the fall and I'm retaking some subject tests too.

Oh, I'm also an intended English major. I definitely want to double major or at least minor in Art History as well.

I have no idea, (I look at everyone, say they're going to get in, but half don't) but now I posted back to the other person and should probably say something.

Hilary is an alumna? Has the media come trying to look for her school papers at your school too?

Most high schools (okay my high school) gives out a couple of awards, like book awards to 11th graders, but lay on the awards when you finish school.

I'm guessing your school gives full letter grades without plus or minus. Your grades look pretty good. Founding clubs also looks good.

Stuff you may or may not know: The Davis Museum, the free (to everyone, not just Wellesley students) Art Museum on campus has finally reopened after being closed last academic year to fix water and climate issues. Also, there's a film society on campus which shows movies every Friday and Saturday nights at Collins cinema. Wellesley offers a bunch of film making, and cinema studies classes. There's even a Cinema and Media studies major.

Anyway, good luck on your SAT.
