<p>Alright..
I'm your average mid-class, both parents went to Roger-Williams, white, New England Girl (sucks in the diversity factor, i know)</p>

<p>I'm totally confused on American schools, I have 3 schools in Scotland I'm definite on, but my parents are making me apply to some here as well. HELP!</p>

<p>Stats:
In the top 10% (12/165)
My school sends minimum students to great schools.
My SAT is currently a 1950 (61.65.69) planning on getting a 2000+ in october.
SATII- 670 US History
I have a 4.9 Weighted, 4.0 unweighted
I have a good amount of awards (including gettysburg book award), will have an AMAZING college essay- guarenteed
My excs are ok: captain of girls golf (10th,11th), habitat for humanity co-founder/co-pres, art honors social chair, play cello outside of school, NHS, Student council- dance committee chair & secretary, peer advocate- on executive board, youth in action (community service club) and Honor Guard.</p>

<p>I took very uncompetitive courses freshmen year, tough classes sophmore and junior
I'm part of the Wesleyan University High School Scholar Program, studying Russian (straight A's) 2 classes this year, 2 next year (count more than APs I presume)</p>

<p>only 4 other AP's: APUSH junior year (hoping for a 4),
bio, studio art and english senior year
(my school only offered 6 this year but will have 8 next year)</p>

<p>I want to double major in Archaeology and Russian</p>

<p>Sooo, I'm thinking Uconn, Conn College, UVM, Miami Oxford, Gettysburg? Any other safteys/middles you could suggest. THANK YOU!</p>

<p>okay i wont claim to be an expert on any of the schools you listed because i honestly have no effing idea.
but. you have a perfect GPA and very solid ECs- they’re more than just okay, imo. the only thing that will hurt you is the low SAT score, if you can get it to be +2000 it would help you a lot.

conn college- in?
UVM- low reach
Miami Oxford- reach
Gettysburg- in

<p>Anyone have any suggestions other than the schools I listed? Know of anywhere I could use as a middle school?</p>

<p>Seems like you’re low-balling it with those schools, in my opinion. Try some tougher ones, though I’m not an expert</p>

<p>ok, for you my friend, Miami Oxford is NOT a reach, it is for sure a safety.</p>

<p>You should really be aiming higher. You have good SATs and ECs.</p>
