Colleges like to see that you’ve been an active member of your community and look for more than just good grades in the students they admit. Were you a part of any kind of group, organisation or activity outside of the classroom? If so, put it down. Choirs, bands, newspapers, sport teams, debating…?

how could you not have a GPA of some sort? Most schools have a volunteer/ community service requiremen t as part of the curriculum, put it down on your ap. Have you been part of a gaming club? Taken any CC classes through a special early access program? I am sure that if you are planning on going to college, you will have something to put in at least some of those areas.

Ok you have to have some sport of GPA. You get grades in your classes, after all. Ask your counselor about this if you’re not sure.

And for activities, it doesn’t just have to be community service. Do play any sports in school? Do you go to any clubs? It doesn’t even have to be at school. Do you do ANY activities outside of school? Go to church? Play the guitar? What are your hobbies?

You really can put ANY activities that you do on there. Colleges just want to see that you do more than spend every day sitting at home watching TV (I guess if this is what you do than you’re screwed). Yes having volunteer work and work experience is a plus, but its not necessary unless you want to go to extremely selective schools.
