<p>Hi, I'm applying to Georgetown early action and I'm really nervous about getting in.</p>
<p>I've got a 4.92 gpa (out of 5)
a 2220 on the sats (1500 critical reading + math)
750 on the bio sat2
700 on english lit
and 750 on math1</p>
<p>I do three varsity sports, theater, chorus, handbells and model un.</p>
<p>I would really appreciate it if anyone would let me know if i have a shot.....</p>

<p>you are a solid candidate. HOWEVER… georgetown has many solid candidates each year. you need to have some sort of hook that will make the college really want you/show you had leadership.</p>

<p>I’m hoping that my creative writing supplement will serve as a hook. I’ve written several short stories and got about half way through a novel. I’m hoping they’ll read the 5 pages of excerpts that I sent.</p>
