soo i was looking over my common application, making sure I made no mistakes even though it was sent like a month ago, and I realized that for "language spoken at home" i put "other" instead of "english"...should i contact cornell and tell them what i did, or will they see this just as a little mistake?

from what i hear, the part where it asks for you 1st language/language learned first/where you were born/language spoken at home is to provide some insight into your verbal/writing scores.

i dont think its gonna be a big deal..but if you wanna make it clear them that you speak english at home, call them and fix it (if they already havent made a decision on your app)

hahahahha oh man i really am dumb, thats what gets put on the application if u speak english, cause if you don't..then you have to say the language you speak..so nevermind haha

i made like a few mistakes myself. ur not the only stupid one. maybe i should call them too.

little mistakes happen all the time: anything from sending to the wrong cornell address to checking wrong boxes...it's no big problem. They'd probably lose a lot of great applicants if they screwed you over for a petty mistake! So don't worry
