Oh god...submitting wrong version of common app for 1/1 deadline

Well, crap.

Before I found out I could replicate and update my common app, I submitted my app to Boston U that has the EC writing sample that needs to be redone. It's too long, has a run on sentence, and doesn't even talk about the right EC that makes me stand out.

However, of course, with today being the deadline and the BU offices closed from 12/23 on, I had to submit everything.

Is there a chance I can call them up first thing tomorrow and let them know of my error and they'll allow me to resubmit my common app?

Am I screwed?

bump

(I have no idea, but hopefully someone else can answer)

You're really not allowed to resubmit it, but you can call and hope.

i think they might be understanding.
when you call though, dont hate on yourself, that will make you look bad
just say you messed up and are sending in a new applicaiton as soon as possible. i would consider emailing them just so you can seem calm and collected.

I don't think that they even respond to an email until a week later at least...

A call is your best bet.

Yeah, at least with a call I'll be sure to get some kind of answer.

I'll post how they treat me, hehe.
