<p>There are several different ways to satisfy the undergraduate admissions requirements for the "e - language other than English" requirement. Including scoring a 3, 4 or 5 on an AP language exam. However, at this time the Chinese, Italian and Japanese exams are not approved. If you friend is trying to meet a UC graduation requirement, not an admissions requirement, please have them contact their academic adviser.</p>
