I feel like applying for college is the worst thing ever. I have no idea what my chances are and I go on sprees of happy and sad days when I think I either can or cannot get in. Your advice would make my life...well, year.

Alright, here goes, another one:

GPA: 3.4 (this was about 3.1 untill I decided I should probably start trying)
Mostly B's for fresh and soph year, 4.3 consistently through junior year.
7 AP classes by the time graduation comes
ALL honors other than that
27 on my ACT, although I was having a horrible day and I think I could get a 29 or 30...I am retaking in october
167 on my PST

EC's
Everything. President of the school, president/founder of a community service org., political discussion group, top choir, lead roles in several school musicals, several community projects through choir, debate, 2 JV sports for 2 years, captains of both, homecoming court, I have been working since I was 14 and still have the same job, interning for my state rep, 4 years of destination imagination (yesss), close-up DC/haiwii, and loads of other volunteering things.

I am posative I will get really good reccomendations. The only thing that scares me is my GPA. I am hoping my rapid improvement last year will count for something. I am really a smart girl and my teachers will write that upon reccomendation, but it doesn't show I have a great work ethic (but i do now lol). I have no idea where this leaves me...here is where I am applying to...

Loyola University Chicago
Bucknell University
American University
Albion College
University of Michigan (i live in MI)
Villanova
Syracuse
UPenn (reach-duh, my boyfriend goes there)

anywhere else anyone could suggest??
I plan to study political science, and I would like to minor in musical theater

so...what are my chances?
