Oh lordy, throwin all my eggs in one basket...

Applied ED for Cornell engineering. I sure as hell hope I get in, because I've been really slacking on my RD applications to Duke, Carnegie Mellon, JHop, Columbia, Upenn, etc...

Here's a very condensed version of my stats & ECs to save you the time:

SAT I: 760M, 760V-one time only semi-finalist too
**SAT II
: 790-Math2C, 790-US History, 780-Writing, 770-Chemistry
**AP Tests
*: taken junior year: 5-Calc AB, 5-US History

GPA: 3.9 unweighted, 4.5 weighted
Curriculum: all honors/AP as possible for all 4 years
Senior courses: AP Calc BC, AP Statistics, AP Biology, AP US Gov., AP English Literature,

EC: -Clarinet (8years), Piano(10 years)

-primarily musical interests-they take up a BIG portion of my free time. Done many competitions, festivals, regional/district/county bands and orchestras, principal/co-principal for many of these groups. Won several awards for piano competitions, etc...much more other stuff as well...

-Other ECs-basic volunteer work, the occasional club, did a summer internship with a Stanford medical researcher (mostly grunt work).

-Theres more stuff too.

I will give you a check for $100 if you dont get in haha, stop worrying. You are in.

does ED to Cornell engineering improve your chances that greatly?

I know people with better stats than me get rejected from Cornell in the past.

^ anybody?

i'm gonna say you're in
