Oh my god.

Got a 690 on June's writing section with a 9 essay.

Got a 680 on the October SAT with an 11 essay.

If I kept the same multiple choice score for the October SAT, I'd have an 800. Ugh.

Anyone have other heartbreaking stories?

If it eases the pain:

750 writing in June (8 essay) - Only 1 multiple choice question wrong
700 writing in October (10 essay) - I thought I aced the MC

…dang.

Damn, brah. Sucks for me because I only have a 1940 superscore. I’m betting you’re 2100+ one sitting.

Actually, 2080 superscored. I’m pretty bummed. I was hoping for 2100-2200.

800 CR BUT 650 on both Writing and Math. And I needed a killer sat score to make up for my atrocious ap calc grade…

My son’s Writing went down too (last spring- 0 wrong on MC and essay of 8 and got a 770; this time 76/80 on MC and essay of 8 and got 730). His other two scores went up, CR quite a bit (680 to 760), math 780 to 800. He has written quite a lot since last spring and he studied the grammar and did about 10 practice tests (full tests) between spring and fall, so this drop in writing surprised him.
