Oh no! I beg you, help~

I’m an anal person, but I made a mistake on the brown app. :frowning: My internet went gay on me and decided it wouldn’t work for 3 hours. It was 11:49 pm by the time it started working again. I copy pasted my essays/short answers. Everything was fine. I turned the app on time. 5 days later I check my essays again on MW. I found out that I copy pasted the essay I had written along with the essay question. So basically, I have this great essay and following the last sentence I have the essay question stuck to it. What do I do? Do I call the admin office to see if they can fix this for me? If they can’t, would this affect me negatively in the admissions process? Please someone I need advice~

call them and tell them that your computer went GAY on you... i'm sure they'd REALLY appreciate that... rolls eyes in disgust

sorry bud, i think u are screwed

actually, just call the admissions office. they'll probably just tell you to mail them a copy of the edited essay.

Homosexual people, computers, and other objects are often known to not work for 3 hours at a time. You should have checked this out prior to using such an item to do something as important as your Brown application.

I apologize for using the word "gay" for those of you who are homosexual. It's just a part of my vocabulary when I'm frustrated. I didn't mean to use the word offensively, and I should have thought about it more. Sorry again. And thx cutiepie.

Don't freak out -- it's probably fine (as long as you didn't describe your computer as "gay" when you called the admissions office).

They probably know what their own essay question is. When they see it at the end of your essay, they'll probably assume that there was a problem, and that you didn't put it there intentionally.
