oh no!!! My guidance counselor never sent my recommendation!!!!

<p>So a week or two ago, I got a message from a university saying that they were missing my teacher's evaluation and I found out that two other colleges never got my teacher's evaluation either!!! (They have one of them, but require two) Now its feb. vacation week and my counselor probably won't be back til next monday! Am I definitely screwed? Will colleges decide my fate long before that recommendation comes in (as in, reject me outright), or will they wait to review it or something? </p>

<p>-I am freaking out like crazy, and I'm so angry at my counselor because she said that I shouldn't worry at all and that the schools were probably just taking time to process things.</p>

<p>trying to chill out, but since its feb. vacation week I probably won’t be able to get a hold of my guidance counselor, so I won’t get it in until the end of the month at this rate. But honestly, I can’t believe this is happening…</p>

<p>I also think my teacher gave her recommendation to my guidance office (she has the file on her computer, but not that ,evaluation checklist thing that comes with commonapp), so my GC is the only one with the full thing.</p>

<p>its just a school account tho, so I don’t know if she looks at that. But anyways, she wouldn’t bring her stuff home, would she?</p>

<p>lostmortal: maybe your GC will not get your email. Contact the colleges next week and just let them know you will get on it ASAP after the break. I agree this is a tough situation and I feel for you. Maybe you should also try emailing your teacher…he or she might pick up the emails at home.</p>
