<p>I just got my midyear grades and they stink. Here are my quick stats: white from California, a hook, and all A's before senior year.
How much are my midyear grades going to hurt me: I got 2 A's (one in an AP another in a regular course) and 3 Bs (one in an AP and 2 in regular courses).
Can I still get in?</p>
<p>2 kids from my class last year had the same situation--All A's and then 3 B's. One got in and one didn't and the B's were in the same classes. But there's no guarantee you'd get in even with straight A's, so it's still a crapshoot. </p>
<p>Your life is not doomed if you don't get in either. The boy who got accepted chose to attend Stanford and the girl who got rejected is attending UMiami.</p>
