<p>I just submitted my FAFSA, two days after it was due. I forgot to turn in the FAFSA due to a.) a major ice storm last week, and b.) pink eye and a stone in my salivary gland this week. </p>

<p>So, I am screwed on finaid, or will the Gods at GW take mercy on my soul?</p>
<p>Usually schools just want the FAFSA/CSS stuff in within a week or two of the deadline, so I wouldn't be worried.</p>
<p>They might put you in the back of the financial aid line.</p>

<p>The deadline was Feb 1st but they are reasonable lax about it. So hurry and do it ASAP. Yo u also have to fill out the CSS profile, which your parents have to help you with, it's very difficult and it involves a lot of more detailed information about your parents' finances than FAFSA. It will take you a whole day to get it right, not 45 minutes as they describe it. Good luck</p>

the answer is no: you send the paperwork them whe you get your taxes back.But the anwswer is yes for the W2s, which you should have gotten in January</p>

the answer is: yes I am sure, because I did that while applying to the school. I missed it too and I still was given a break.</p>
