doesn't that sound weird? lol.

actually, some friends of mine discussed this over dinner last night. we concluded that no one in 09 should ever take time off, because then we'd be stuck with "...ten." and that just sounds weird.

it's hard to top ohhhhhh nine.

hey, hey! watch it! ;)
"...ten"'s much kewler than the insipid "oh nine". i mean, think about it, "oh nine" is just like "oh eight" or "oh seven"...
"OH TENN", however, marks a new beginning, a change....

i think i should write my suppl. essay on this.... hahaha ;)

yeah but the whole point is that it's not "oh ten!"...it's just "...ten."

unless of course it's "(oh...this graduation year is lousy-sounding) ten!"

; -) jk

I prefer Twenty-Ten myself. A very space-age sounding name.

It's just like the difficulty of referring to this decade: before, there was "the nineties", "the eighties", etc. What to you call these ten years: "the ones"?

...the "teens"? haha

....or one-oh :)

Twenty-Ten... hm... I like this one best. One-Oh would be second :)

Tri... you're Viet! So much for the statistic that only one Viet living in the US gets accepted.

yep it's definitely a bit awkward...but twenty-ten and one-oh both sound alright i suppose

No, it is oh-ten. The oh just refers to the hundreds place.

yeah, definitely viet. lol

this is so exciting.

twenty ten

one oh

oh ten

ten

whatever, it's still amazing.

xo. tri

But I mean--"ten"? What kind of cool catch phrases can you get from that?

Class of '09 can have events with names like "09 Lives," or a freshman week called "Cloud 09." With ten, what do you have? "Ten . . . commandments"?

The coolness of a class should be determined by the catch phrases, methinks. :-)

ten...things i hate about you?

not that i've...uh...ever seen that or anything.

that movie is only fabulous. lol.

xo. tri

um, let's see.... 'perfect ten', 'ten out of ten'.....should i go on?;)

p.s. ten things about u... so rocks...

haha
yessss i wont be the only person there next year with an appreciation for some crappy teen movies

Harvard College Class of Twenty-Ten!

You know, folllows precedent. 1984 was nineteen eighty-four, after all...

what is this "crappy" you speak of? lol.

xo. tri

by crappy i mean wonderful.
