Soooooo to all the CC'ers, thank you so much for all your guys' support these past few weeks. It has been a wonderful experience, getting to know you guys over the internet, endless nights spent searching through threads, and listening to many of your guys' encouraging words and advice. However, after being placed on the "waitlist"/spring admit 2008 for USC and being rejected to NYU today, I no longer will come back on this site :( I will most likely attend Univ. of Rochester next year, and if one of you CC'ers will attend that school next year, facebook me!! I hope each and every one of you get into USC or whatever school u desire. I believe in you guys! As for me, spring admit 2008 is not enough to change my dad's mind on USC. So Ill be at Univ. of Rochester, most likely. I loveeeeeeee you guys! And thanks again for all the support/advice/opinions. Good luck! :)

your dad is crazy...take the spring admit...you'll get in!

no kidding. Spring admit isnt bad! Coming from a school similar to the college experience, I can tell you that it isnt hard to make friends if you come in late (60 kids at my high school come in sophomore year) Youll be coming in with other kids, so there will be kids in the same boat as you. Youre not a worse applicant just because you got in Spring....smartest kid at my boarding school (who is probably going to Yale next year) got rejected as freshman, so he applied again as a sophomore and got in. (he repeated his freshman year)

USC is worth the wait... go for spring '08 ( ha that rhymes )
